I wish they wouldn't make Kogoro so incompetent. Conan doesn't have to solve EVERYTHING.
All he's done this episode is give the wrong answer just so Conan could correct him

12:28 i've already found MULTIPLE giant plot-holes in this first episode of this two parter.

1 the pages are OBVIOUSLY held together with two big clips. why did the bomber TEAR OUT the pages with the answers? just unclip the pages, pull those ones out, and reclip the pages together instead of tearing them.

2 all books are printed these days from digital masters. the publisher would have computer files with those digital masters and be able to pull them up on a tablet/laptop etc. and probably REPRINT the missing pages. even if it is just a standard piece of printer paper size. then those answers could be distributed to the police and those bomb locations could be found ahead of schedule. or images of the missing pages could be emailed out.

3 why didn't Conan read ahead in the book and find out HOW MANY CLOCKS the little delivery boy was going to take with him? also, read ahead and FIGURE OUT THE RIDDLES BEFORE HAND! if possible. maybe each delivery location gives a clue to the next one etc. so it wouldn't be easy to read ahead and get outside/beyond the bomber's plans.

4 how the hell did a previously suspected bomber get into Japan? are the police ONLY following the leads in the pop-up-book? is the suspect even capable of building a bomb and routing a bunch of text messages internationally? where did the suspect get the materials and education/experience to build bombs? everybody, and i do mean EVERYBODY is handling that book WITH THEIR BARE HANDS! is nobody going to test the book? maybe examine the book and see if it has been faked! maybe pages were changed by the suspect! (i just shoved all these other plot-holes into one item to save space)
